IT'S OFFICIAL! Thanks to the help of my dedicated supporters, I won the August 3 Primary. Now it's on to the general election in November!
Above all else, I learned one VERY important lesson during the primary - the importance of getting out and making contact with voters.
While I personally knocked on hundreds of doors and talked to many voters over the past four months, I also had the invaluable help of volunteers going door to door as well.
THIS MADE THE DIFFERENCE IN MY PRIMARY CAMPAIGN.
As we head into the general election campaign, I'll need your help more than ever.

The GREEN way to a new Michigan economy
- Use our manufacturing expertise to make the products the world will need, such as alternative energy components and mass transit equipment.
- Strengthen K-12 and higher education to prepare our citizens to meet the needs of a global, knowledge-based economy.
- Recognize the value of our water, forest, and land resources to preserve Michigan as a unique and special place to live, work and visit.
- Work with the Michigan Legislature to accomplish goals in a transparent, accountable, and bipartisan fashion.
- Commit to restoring civility in State government.
I pledge to do my best to accomplish these goals for Michigan and for the 52nd District.
